I think having a same age circle of opinions is way better than having an older range of opinions.Parents or any other relatives, give their opinions from their point of view Wich are a more mature way of thinking, that may or may not help you in that moment. However, Having a friend to give their opinion is better because they are the same age or maybe a little bit older/younger and they understand your problem the same way you do!
