When it started raining it was still early: 7 pm. Tired, but happy, David came into the house and greeted his mother. But she didn't answer. The blue eyes were sad. David came closer. He stopped behind her, called her slowly, but she didn't make a move, noticed the open letter on the table. He hastily looked at it and just as he decided to read from the beginning, mom grabbed his hand. He stopped very staring. Then without talking and blinking his mother nodded her head. Although he was very curious, David understood that he had to refrain from reading the contents of the letter.
