If I had told him the truth a long time ago, or if I had danced, and I would have, and I would have searched more, maybe he would have seen me and not just an ordinary and reliable mother. He loves an incomplete version of me. I always thought that's what I wanted, to be loved and admired. Now I think I'd really like to be known. Consider this my last wish.
