Well, first of all, it's really dangerous to put too much personal information on any networking sites, including social media platforms.
The social media platforms for example Facebook and Google is well known for selling your information for 3rd party companies.
Those informations about you will not be dangerous for you as a person and/or your account.
Since they will not reveal anything related about yourself, eg: your personal email address, your saved passwords, phone number.
That doesn't mean you shouldn't be careful when choosing wisely what information you actually give to them.
Some sites will try to impersonate well known social media platforms/sites into making you think that is the real deal, then will make you put your personal information into that one site, from where you can start having issues with your personal accounts for eg. losing them, getting locked out of them for an indefinite amount of time or losing your personal information wich they will steal for their own gain.
So that's why you should be careful whenever you want to put any form of information on any site those days.
Make sure to always double check the site before you insert any information, also double check for any flaws on the gramatical part of the site since fake impersonating sites will most likely spell basic words/phrases wrong, leading you to the discovery of the fake site, since no good established company and well known will spell wrong anything their site has to offer/presents.
Hope I've helped you with your essay, that's all I had for you today, hope you like it!
