I like funny things but I can't tolerate people going to the other extreme. That is, when they start making jokes or laughing during an important moment. Respect and common sense are very important and I think you have to have a certain respect when you do something funny or say. Some people may misinterpret what you call a "joke" and you should always think twice about doing something that may have consequences, and it would be good to avoid such situations.
