☆ Folosim how much atunci când substantivul este nenumărabil (nu se poate număra) - Uncountable Nouns
Exemplu: milk - lapte
butter - unt
flour - făină
water - apă
☆ Folosim how many atunci când substantivul este numărabil (se poate număra) - Countable Nouns
Exemplu: tomatoes - roşii
cucumbers - castraveți
pupils - elevi
eggs - ouă
● How much + substantiv nenumărabil la singular (evident, fiindcă nu are formă de plural)
● How many + substantiv doar la forma de plural (neapărat un substantiv ce se poate număra)
!!! Unele substantive nu sunt la fel ca în română
Dacă noi putem spune "o pâine - două pâini", în engleză nu vom spune "a bread - two breads"
În schimb, putem folosi alte cuvinte care să arate cantitatea
Exemplu: a slice of bread - o felie de pâine
