x:y=3,r=4 rezulta x=3y+4
Inlocuind obtinem:

4y=44
y=11
x=3y+4
x=33+4=37
a+b=48
a/b=3 rest 4
a=3b+4
inlocuim astfel 3b+4+b=48
4b=48-4
4b=44
b=11
a= 48-11
a=37
