Tajikistan ()
1. Their landscape is mountainous, with mountains being the pride of the country. The odd shape of their borders is a result of how the Soviet Union organized its constituent republics. These are bad borders because they do not correspond with where people of different ethnicities live, as in Tajikistan we have a significant minority of Uzbeks. The people are Persian, they related to Iranians and they speak Persian.
2. Tajikistan is one of the Central Asian countries that play buzkashi. Buzkashi or kokpar literally means "goat dragging" in the Persian language. The national sport is gushtigiri, a form of traditional wrestling.
A popular form of art in Tajikistan is woodcarving.
3. The Tajik educational system consists of four levels: preschool, secondary, specialized secondary and vocational, and university/higher education. Sadly, a lot of girls drop out in 8th or 9th grade.
