It passed another year in the fictional town of Hawkins, but he still feels the shock of Will Byers' disappearance and miraculous return. His friends, Mike, Dustin and Lucas, feel distant, worried and always stolen by thoughts. His mother and brother approach him very cautiously, and the other locals simply avoid him. Will wants one thing: to be the usual boy he used to be. But the trauma persists, so he has all sorts of strange visions on the street and at home. Periodically, he returns mentally to the underworld, an apocalyptic space dominated by a monster with many tentacles, which pursues him incessantly.
