to cancel milk and newspaper delivery so that they do not gather at your front door
to ask a friend to come at your house regularly and turn the lights on ,close and open the curtains as well
to never leave garden tools in the garden
to not tell anyone about your travel plans and to not post pictures on social media while you're away
to put a large dog dish and a bad dog sign in the back and the front of the house
to have a high fence at the back of the house and grow prickly bushes
