Who kidnapped my teacher?
It was on a Sunday and we had to meet our teacher to complete a project. Our teacher gave us the spare key to the classroom and told us that we would find her on the 2nd floor classroom at 12 o’clock.
It felt weird to go to school on a Sunday, everything was deserted. As we entered the classroom we noticed a weird, unfamiliar, chemical smell. We looked at each other confused and we soon found the evidence. It was a handkerchief on the floor and it smelled just like chloroform.
We right away imagined the worst scenario ever: ”Our teacher was taken hostage.” But who would kidnap our teacher?” So we started to search for footprints, possessions or other items. We didn’t find anything useful for our investigation so we went looking for the school guardian. He was nowhere to be found as well. “Shouldn’t we call the police?” my friend asked – she was the panicky type.
That’s when one of the boys asked “First, are we sure she’s been taken hostage? We must search the classroom again to make sure.” When we returned we found our teacher waiting for us. She smiled at us as usual. “But where did your gay smiles disappear to? I was late because I got stuck in traffic, but you are even later. What happened?”, she asked.
So after we told her the whole story, she burst out laughing because we though she must have been kidnapped and tied by a stalker or an evil-minded man.
Then she told us that the science class had held a meeting before we arrived, they did some experiments, and probably used the handkerchief to clean the surfaces. This was a funny story and I always remember it with a big smile on my face.
