Simple Past Tense se formeaza:
- pt verbele regulate (to call, to play, etc) - prin adaugarea terminatiei -ED la forma de infinitiv scurt (call --> called; play --> playerd)
- la verbele neregulate SE INVATA PE DE ROST din tabela de verbe neregulate - coloana a II-a o reprezinta Simple Past Tense.
