Did si didn't se folosesc la trecut , la PAST SIMPLE , care se formeaza astfel :

-AFIRMATIV : SUBIECT + VERB ( cu "ed" dacă e regulat si cu forma a doua daca e iregulat)

ex: verb regulat : I worked too much today.
berb iregulat : I went to school.

-NEGATIV : SUBIECT + DIDN'T + VERB LA INFINITIV

ex: I DIDN'T meet her.
He DIDN'T know how to explain.


-INTEROGATIV: DID + SUBIECT + VERB LA INFINITIV

ex : DID you see her?
DID he make his homeworks?
