human hands are large and have long fingers, this means that we can do lots of operations, such as: making a fist(to hurt a threat), picking up items, make tools or even to communicate.
Animals on the other hand(no pun intended) can't pick up items, can't make tools and they can't hurt threats using their paws beside scratching, most animals have little hands and tiny fingers.
