I was standing in front of thousands of military uniforms, tanks, and photos of soldiers who have fought in the war. I was looking at all of them, with my eyes widely open - the past was not behind anymore, it was right there, in front of me.
There were guns, pistols, rifles and shotguns, all of them behind glass cases, protected now, as they used to protect people in the past.
In the left part of the room, there were bombers, turrets, bombs and grenades, and behind those, there was a soldier. A tall one, wearing a specific uniform and a helmet, as if staring at me. I looked into his eyes, and even if it was just a mannequin, I could see a twinkle in his eyes.
The past, as I have just said, was not behind anymore - I was looking at it, and for a moment, I could close my eyes and envision all those days ago. All those times of glory. All those moments...
