"Is" se foloseste cand e unul singur (la singular) iar "are" se foloseste cand sunt doi sau mai multi.

is= este (el/ea este)
are= sunt (ei/ele sunt)
Nu este corect is ci este corect are pentru ca sunt mai mulți
