Exercițiul constă în scrierea corectă a formelor posesive. 
Forma de posesiv a unui substantiv care nu se termină cu litera s, se formează prin adăugarea 's la sfârșit. Ex.: friend's name.
La forma de plural (fiindcă se termină cu s), se adaugă doar apostroful '. Ex.: friends' names.

Rezolvarea
1. My friend's name is Mike
2. His cousins' names are Jean and Criss
3. Our children's names are Catherine and Paula (sg. child, pl. children; childrens nu există)
4. My brother's name is Mark
5. My brothers' names are Ben and Tom
6. This is the lady's dress
7. Look at the roof of the house (poți utiliza ambele variante, însă prima nu specifică care casă anume, iar a doua este destul de formală.)
