The black rhino (Diceros bicornis) is part of the Rhinocerotidae family and is one of two African rhinoceros species, the other being the white rhino. The latter was rescued from extinction a few years ago by foundations of species protection. Not the same fortune was the Black Rinocerus, which is in a critical degree of extinction because of poaching.
