I think the autor wanted to say that people nowadays do not values the things anymore, they do not feel with their hearts just with their wallets. They do not speak face to face, just use their phone and tell lies instead of telling the truth even if it hurts. The people nowadays are spoiled and do not know how it feels to work on your own they are at daddy”s pocket. They only appreciate the mark not the thing itself. I think the world is going down.
