Sa se determine vârsta a doi frati știind ca primul are cu 2 ani mai puțin decât a treia parte din suma vârstelor lor , iar celălalt are cu 6 ani mai mult decât jumătate din suma vârstelor lor.

x= (x+y)/3 -2 | •3 => 3x= x + y - 6
y= (x+y)/2 +6 | •2 => 2y= x+y +12

3x= x + y - 6 => 2x = y-6 => y= 2x+6 ( iar acum in a doua relatie inlocuim y cu 2x+6 peste tot )

2(2x+6) = x + 2x + 6 + 12
4x + 12 = 3x + 6 + 12
(3x si 12 se reduc si mai ramane in stanga un x)
=> x=6
(ne intoarcem la relatie si inlocuim x cu 6)
y=2*6 + 6 = 18

=> un frate are 6 ani, iar celalalt 18 ani
