1. A: Have you ever seen an elephant?
B: Yes, I saw some in a zoo last summer.
A: Did you touch them ?
B : No they were in their cages.
2. A: Did you go shopping on Saturday?
B : Yes, I bought lots of things.
A : What did you buy?
B : A jacket, some shoes and a pair of trousers.
3. A: Have you finished your project yet?
B : Yes, I finished it last night.
A : Have you typed it yet?
B : Yes , I have already typed it.
4. A : Have you ever been to Poland?
B : Yes , I went there in 1992.
A : Where did you stay?
B : I stayed at a friend's house in Warsaw.

Observații:
Se formează cu ajutorul auxiliarului have/has + Past Participle (forma a 3-a a verbelor).
Se folosește cu indici de timp precum: already, yet, ever.
Forma sa este a 2-a din tabelele cu verbe neregulate sau se adaugă „-ed” la forma de infinitiv a verbelor regulate.
Ca indici de timp, se folosesc expresii precum: last week/year/month, yesterday, ago.
