"a" si "an" se folosesc cand vorbesti despre ceva in general, nu un lucru specific
ex: I want a car. ; I want to read an amazing book.
Nu le poti folosi cand vorbesti de pluralul substantivelor
obs: "a" se foloseste cand substantivul incepand cu o consoana
iar "an" cand incepe cu o vocala
desi este o exceptie 'hour', cand te referi la ora spui "an hour" pentru ca 'h' nu se citeste in acest caz
"the" se foloseste cand vrei sa fii specific, care e stiut de ascultator, care a fost introdus recent.
ex: I have a dog. The dog is small.;
Do you know where I left the car keys? ( acele chei, ascultatorul stiind despre ce vorbesti)
