In my opinion socity treats people who are good-looking or ugly in different ways. In a superficial society the good-looking people will always be the nicest ones with no exception(perception that is wrong) and the others not so handsome will be treated differently or even worse discriminated.
On the other hand a smarter type society will treat them equal looking for the others abilities and traits not only for the looking of the body.
That was my opinion about the society and the different treatment of people.
