Last Saturday I woke up early, but I didn't get up because there was no school. My brother brought me my breakfast in bed! Finally I got up and went out. In the street I found a lottery ticket - first prize a holiday in New York! I put it in my pocket and waited for the result. Did I win? Well, this morning I have seen the Statue of Liberty, have eaten a hamburger and have bought some presents for my family.

Obs. În ultima frază, nu este posibilă utilizarea verbelor la Past Tense Simple (acţiune trecută şi complet încheiată), deoarece apare sintagma "this morning" (în această dimineaţă) şi care impune întotdeauna utilizarea timpului Present Perfect.
