Summary: John Newby was driving his tractor back home after a long day of work when he noticed that clouds were gathering. After hearing a sound in the distance, he started shivering because he realised that a storm was coming his way. His wife and children were also afraid and by the time he managed to get them to the storm cellar, the wind had already destroyed his house. The roof and a great part of the house were ripped off while enormous hailstones battered the remains of their house. They waited anxiously until it was over and after coming out of the shelter, John had tears in his eyes when looking at the ruins of his house.
