1) It was dangerous for Tom to be out on the river in his boat because several trees have been blowed down higher up the river and they were floating in his way.
2)Tom didn't worry about the rain when he was on the river at all because he had to go to his mom.
3) Tom didn't want to go next dor to the Wilsons because he didn't know them too well.
4) Mrs Wilson telephoned Mrs Kelly because the river bank have burst, so they're evecuating the whole street.
5) I think that the Kelly's house was destroyed after the flood.
