Am nevoie de ajutor la acest exercitiu:Complete the sentences with much or as...as and the correct form of the adjective in brackets.                                                                                 1) Toledo in Spain is... than Newquay.(beautiful).                                                                      2) Is the population of India.... that in China?( large).                                                                3) The beaches on the Costa Blanca are... than the beaches on the Costa Brava.(long)              4) The shops here aren't...  in the capital.( fashionable).                                                           5) The weater is... than it was last year.(good).Trebuie doar sa treceti adjectivele din paranteza depinde ori sal scrieti cum much ori cu as... as care se potriveste.Dau puncte multe, si sa raspunda doar cine stie nu vreau raspunsuri aiurea.

Observaţii:

  • Pentru adjectivele monosilabice (care se pronunţă printr-o singură silabă - ex. "strong") şi pentru adjectivele disilabice (2 silabe - ex. easy) care au ca terminaţie y, er, ow, le, gradele de comparaţie se formează după cum urmează:
  1. positive (strong / easy)
  2. comparative (stronger than / easier than)
  3. superlavive (the strongest / the easiest)

  • Pentru adjectivele plurisilabice, gradele de comparaţie se formează după cum urmează:
  1. positive (difficult)
  2. comparative (more difficult than)
  3. superlative (the most difficult)

  • Pentru adjectivele cu grade de comparaţie neregulate, e util de verificat dicţionarele; iată câteva exemple:
  1. good - better - the best
  2. bad - worse - the worst
  3. little - less - the least
