I first found out about basketball when I was in the 5th grade. My mother somehow contacted a very well-known trainer and the experience was life-changing.
I had to attend his classes 3 to 4 times per week, each with a duration of 4 painful hours. The training wasn't about perfecting your aim when throwing. It was much more about building a proper toughness, developing an ability to think into situations that change rapidly, to move your mind's eye over the court and then follow it with your body towards scoring the most points.
I loved basketball then and I still love it now. It is one great sport.
