HELP !!! Ajutor cat mai repede



Rewrite the sentences using the Third conditional.

1. John sat in the sun: he got burnt
2. Peter didn't study: he failed his exam
3.It was sily of you leave the window open: the carpet got went
4. Pocahontas lived with the English. That's how she met her husband
5.She died in England. That's why she was buried there

HELP !!!

Răspuns :

1. If John hand't stayed in the sun, he wouldn't have got burnt.
2. If Peter had studied he wouldn't have failed the exam.
3. The carpet wouldn't have got wet (?) if you hadn't left the window open.
4. If Pocahontas hadn't lived with the English, she wouldn't have met her husband.
5. If she hadn't died in England, she wouldn't have been buried there.
