Last spring, Mum made us a surprise: a short holiday in London. We traveled by plane at the first class. We landed soon on Heathrow and went to the hotel.
The hotel was an old one, but very beautiful. We visited old museums and old temples/churches. I had as breakfast "chicken with garlic sauce". The chicken was
delicious but the garlic was a bit too hot. At lunch time we had pizza with tuna. The service was good, the waiters were polite and nice and their uniforms were beautiful in white and blue.
The people were nice and kind. At five o'clock we had the traditional "five o'clock tea" . My father and I went to football and a basket matches. I am crazy about football and about basket, too. With my mother I went
to tennis and handball matches. My Mum likes both tennis and handball.
At dinner we had is pudding with figs. The next day we visited Big Ben, we admired the Houses of Parliament, we walked along the Thames. In the afternoon we arrived at London Eye and my mother bought tickets for us. The view of the city from up there was great! I enjoyed very much our short holiday.
As a conclusion, London is a beautiful and a big city .
