The story of the Sirens
Odysseus and his men were sailing and they heard a beautiful sound. they never heard before. It was a hypnotic song. They stopped moving just to listen. Odysseus and his men had run into Sirens who were magical creatures and looked like mermaids. But they didn't know they were evil and they wanted to kill people with their beautiful songs. Odysseus knew that and stuffed his and his men's ears so they couldn't hear their songs. That's why they sailed safely away.
