Solidarity is the unity of a group or class, which produce, or is based on the community of interests, objectives and standards. It is reffered to the bonds from a society, which bind the people together. The term is usually used in sociology and other social sciences. What form the base of solidarity is different through societies. In simple communities, it can be based on relatives and common values. In more complex societies, there are various teories related on what contributes at the social solidarity.
Friendships are not just opportunities for ephemeral changes of amabilities, of gratuity, or fashionable impressions. Even less they are based om common general aversions of perishable conjunctures.
Friendships is a huge bet of trust which does not weaken at any difficult attempt.
Loyalty is part of this intersubjective coalition. The same with an indispensable fidelity in connection with a common past.
On the contrary, when the sky is clouded, when your friends are insulted and slandered (whether they are alive, whether they are dead and can't defense themselves), you don't wash yourself, you don't simulate a false detachment and you don't enter in the detractors chorus, you don't cautionate, not even break away their joy to have no stain. And if you do it, it means you had only mimed the friendship. There are also fdscent formes of break-up, not only the ones meant to give satisfaction to others.
For me, friendship means solidarity, always strenghten by principles and values. When solidarity is shaking, when ardent pride is combined with vadiable complexes into a distressing sentimental alchemy, when the past is rewritten to become harmonious with present games, maneuver and combinations, then the friendship is over. Clearly, some rationalise this decisions which cancels solidarity as a principle devocion.
