Dear Alex, Thank you very much for your present. It is/was a real surprise. What a pity that you can/could not come. I have/had a wonderful birthday party. It starts/started at one in the afternoon and finishes/finished at four in the afternoon. My best friends come/came with presents. It is/was a beautiful day and we play/played outside. Then we watch/watched Harry Potter. Love, Andy
